About the Artist
Hello my name is Shundul and welcome to my virtual art space. Who Am I? Well I’m a down to earth, friendly, genuine and creative soul who was born, bred and lived for 39 years of my life in the town of Burnley Lancashire, in the North West of England. I was born on the 7th of September 1973. In May 2016, I decided to start my life over and I now live in Preston, in Lancashire, also in the North West of the United Kingdom. I have a very rare physical condition and disability from birth known as Arthrogryposis. It affects my limbs including the muscles, joints, bones and soft tissues. I also use an electric wheelchair to get about. I work in an unusual way due to my disability. I paint and sketch using a brush or pen in my mouth. In 2009 I set up my own art workshop. My debut work was originally designed and created in Studio71 which was in Burnley. These days I have a studio in my apartment, based in Preston. My workshop is lovingly called ManCave110.
