About the Artist
I have always held a keen interest in art but took to photography around the age of 16. Since I discovered my passion for photography I have been studying in the field completing a National Diploma by the age of 18 and progressing onto my current studies for a BA in Photography. I am advancing into my third and final year of study in september 2014 with two very exciting projects and an exhibition to follow. After my studies I intend to progress into the documentary field extending my portfolio and branching into printed publications. I chose to work with photography as I feel the medium breaks linguistic barriers and unites communities, words are often hard to translate but no matter your origin you can read a photograph. Competitions and Awards Shortlisted top ten for Capture the Moment 2014.
