About the Artist
Valeriya Nyamtsova-Georgieva is born in Silistra, Bulgaria. She has started her fine art career in London few years ago participating in numerous group’s exhibitions. The artist has been using printmaking, and especially intaglio etching, to explore her primary theme of freedom, which she expresses through the subjects of nature and the ritual dance. The spectacular ancient rituals of Bulgarian folk culture inspire her most recent works. Valeriya finds it is particularly magical to explore the route fully before arriving at an end.
