About the Artist. Stephen Jackson Born London 1954. Married with 2 children. Have recently taken up art again : something I enjoyed in my youth but gave up when I discovered sex,drugs n'rock and roll! Now that I have mellowed, my children are older and I have grown wise,I moved from down south to Chesterfield in 2003,I can devote more time to it. Much of my art is influenced by the atmosphere,expression and staging of theatre.A look,a raised eyebrow, the way a finger points;all convey a myriad of messages to the observer.My art tries to achieve the same.
