About the Artist
Danielle Dafni practices painting and sculpturing from recycled materials, industrial waste or raw materials and, according to the artistic tradition of using "Readymade" objects and accordance with current traditions of "Pop art" or "Green art", through voluntary creation or pre-ordered by clients. In addition, she produces video art works. Danielle affiliates with an Israeli group named "re:LOFT", who raised the flag of creating art from recycled industrial materials. The group is also interested in appropriate usage of large amounts of non-human waste – literally garbage - as well as using and artfully presenting urban spaces and/or landscapes altered by industry, with reference to the proper original environment.
