About the Artist Sergio Fornasetti, born in Milan in 1949. Since young he is a keen and curious observer and a lover of visual perceptions. His good and simple soul is extremely sensitive to nature, music and spirituality. His studies are dedicated to lyceum and to architecture. He has experiences in architecture with the great Italian masters of the 1900 such as Figini and Pollini, Aldo Rossi, Renzo Piano, Zanuso. He travels in Europe, Africa, Americas, India, Thailand and Malaysia. He is a researcher by instinct, with a rare and special ability to perceive the soul of people, places, situations, things. He paints because painting is part of his way of being. Sergio Fornasetti’s art is free from any reference to the “marketâ€. The way of living of this artist allows very little to trends, fashions and to all those needs that media and our “ruling culture†create. In 2005 he presents to the public ARS, his independently produced “cahier d’artisteâ€.
