The pieces I had in my exhibition with the same title in 2009 at Wilde Gallery in Berlin. Of course the scale of the pieces differs more in reality. 2010Interesting me to dismantle signiticance formats and keep the differences a mongs them, and to emphasize the impossibility to watch on them in the glabally way, the reduction it's an interest that causes to the blindness and emphasizes only the interests of the system, by means of dismanteing of acceptable absolute significances, with dismanteing the imagery from their context, place imagery without inception and ending, by mean of distortion of situations and place them all together without possibility to combine deep signifcance that drag the absolute preferences, i try think that it's possible enable to all thing catch a place in our existence,this as if to move about within a permanent movement like waves, to pass from movement to movement, to pass only, like thoughts that the time in them isn't linear, my goal of course, to became different all the time.A view of Tel-Aviv through coffee shop windows. Each painting has the time and the order of what I had when I painted it.“Cain”, a solo exhibition by Ben Bejerano at Inga Gallery features paintings made in the past year. Surreal happenings bear signs of the present; a fake ideality, violence and destruction, an optimistic vision collapsing into reality; the old residing side by side with the new. An all-encompassing painting: both future, past and present, it is naïve in its ambition. The mind can sustain reality – the heart brings ruin; a punk-impressionism. A preservation of tents frozen at the feet of a shattered wall; the Temple Mount on fire, and Chagall’s fiddler floating above a Mediterranean shtetl. Jerusalem covered with graffiti, scribbled over; men of dark complexion, in shiny overalls, proceeding like a herd through a wadi, ejected. A waste mountain; a tower of Babylon, with Haredi Jews ablaze on its roof; a gazelle, iconic in shape, surrounded by female bodyguards, looks organic, crowned and made-up; fragments of broken Buddha statues
