About the Artist
Lisa Cianci is a multidisciplinary artist from Melbourne, Australia. Lisa produces work in both analogue and digital format, with her current focus on Internet-based dynamic, code-driven, interactive art. Lisa has exhibited her art work both locally and internationally – in physical galleries and virtual spaces on the Internet. Lisa also teaches in digital media and visual art at Victoria University. She is a professional archivist and a database/web developer. Lisa has recently completed a PhD at RMIT University. Her research project in Creative Media uses dynamic web systems and digital media objects to generate an Internet-based art work and a keeping-place (archive) for variable media content.
