About the Artist
I am an artist who is using Photography to document the world's navigational systems.I have been exploring the many facets of these systems since 2004 when I became interested in Road markings and how they might communicate to us. I am interested in our relationship to these communicating networks as regards their Form, Function and Surface qualities and to what effect these qualities might have on our own lives. I am hoping to extend the Photographic vocabulary and that in response to my work, we can begin to see and perceive the whole environment with fresh eyes and a newly found consciousness.
