About the Artist In life it is important to experience change in able to grow as artists and as human beings. My art is a reflection of my environment, my beliefs and the way I perceive the world around me. As a painter I have explored and continue to delve on different techniques and styles. I discovered my love for art when I became a mother at the age of 18. I taught myself to work with watercolors, oils, acrylics and H2oils. I left my job as an engineer associate in the summer of 2008 -after 14- 1/2 years of working at the same place- in order to make my dreams a reality. Since then, I’ve been published in the 2009 and 2010 editions of SandScript, a literary magazine. I have entered juried shows and I’ve been accepted twice at the Luis Carlos Bernal Gallery in 2009 and 2010 as well as the Student Gallery at Pima College. I have participated in group shows at Dinnerware Art Space as well as Fragment Gallery.
