About the Artist
My honest name is Gergely Kacsó and I was born to this world at the spring of 1987. I don’t want to mention the irrelevant phases of my life, I’d rather talk a little about the way I walked at the fields of art. My father is a ceramist. For more than ten years he takes an active part in the work of many international art camps, there I usually follow him. Thanks to him I was lucky to get to know many contemporary art geniuses like István Korbely, András Győrfi, Kálmán Makláry, János Sebestyén, not to mention every one of them. I think I must have disturbed them when I was running around their easels. They made me sit, gouged out three or four colours from their tubes and gave a brush to my hands to paint instead of making perturbance. I think my carreer began this way.
