About the Artist I like to think of my prints as 2 dimensional abstracted machines with a series of interconnected moving parts. Although the parts may be seemingly at odds which each other, when put together as a compositional whole, all the parts make sense. This is a metaphor for wellness. Disease or Dis-Ease is when working parts are askew, not at ease, and not working together to form a unity. I seek to make sense out of the chaos; to bring in Ease. These dynamisms I strive to communicate become a stand-in for my inability to have a dynamic body able to move through the world without constriction by moving me kinetically through my art. Through my prints comes freedom. It is this freedom through art that I most want to impart to the viewer.
