About the Artist
In 2004, I retired as a Senior Community Services Officer for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. I also served in Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania, Pakistan and Tanzania. I collected extensive journals, reports and newspapers to support, guide and inspire my memoir. I have had an interesting and rewarding life. I have broken barriers for women, men and refugees. I’ve saved lives; restored peace, had adventures and lots of fun too.
