About the Artist I am a sculptor and installation artist living and working in Israel and represented by The Rosenfeld Gallery in Tel Aviv. I graduated recently (2007) from the University of Haifa, with a masters degree in fine arts at a program designated for young emerging artists. I have participated in many group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, and recently I held a number of solo exhibitions at leading galleries and museums. My expertise as a sculptor is in complex technologies of polymeric molds and casts. My sculptures have classical and naturalistic characteristics, with a postmodern approach: They tend to imitate reality creating the illusion of a readymade object. This illusion endows them with a surreal quality that may appear either humoristic or morbid. Over the past years my work has evolved into a consistent body, with individual visual characteristics unique to the field of art in which I operate, and has thus become attributed to me
